Since I was 5, I went to work with my dad, a drywaller for 57 years until he retired in 2019. If I wasn’t in sports or school, I had to wake up at 5:30 am and travel to a job site.
My best and worst memories growing up were working with my father and uncle Rick. I learned the value of hard work and how much my father cared about doing things right, treating every home like our own. He believed in giving our best. The frustrating part was that at that age, I wanted to be home with my friends playing ball or finding trouble.
I was truly fortunate to learn hard work, paying attention to details, and caring for others.
I fell in love with the different homes and their owners' stories. Listening to my father talk to eager buyers and sellers showed me how important it is to go the extra mile. I was proud to be his son, taking on age-appropriate tasks that increased as I grew older. From picking up nails and screws, cleaning the house, to the fine, intimate details of the perfect finishing touches of drywall, my father looked over me and insisted on his way from start to finish. He knew, his way others respected and trusted in his high level of expectations.
I worked in this field throughout high school and during my college summers, even recruiting my college basketball roommate to my dad’s company in my junior year. After long days in the heat and humidity of Minnesota summers, we found the nearest outdoor basketball hoop to practice for our senior season. It paid off; we both earned MVP honors in our final season!
My father, my inspiration made me love Real Estate!
From 2001-2008, I was a successful mortgage specialist, learning how to buy and sell homes.
In 2017, I built a youth sports facility called the P2P Sports Event Center in northern Colorado while working in Real Estate. In 2022, I decided to focus solely ON MY OWN AGAIN the passion for youth sports and got my Real Estate License during this same time. My faith guided me to this path!
My father unexpectedly passed away on January 4, 2025. It's heartbreaking, but his legacy will live on in my heart and memories. He was a kind man who supported me and believed I had the compassion to help others in real estate, and I can honestly say his guided principles of integrity, honesty, work ethic and genuine care for others is alive and well in my Real Estate endeavors.
I strive to treat everyone in my life, especially those buying or selling, with the same care my father showed. I value honest customer service and integrity.
I’m an expert in helping people thrive by building strong relationships and families, and by showing how real estate can improve their lives.
